If the world had a heart...

It's hard not miss,
The spider and the fly.
Or the wolf and the fawn,
As they dance their lethal forms.
Why nature is a beast!
Of course.
And so are we.
But how would life taste
With a monochrome glaze?
Would monotony trouble us so?
Probably.
Take the good with the bad.
The unjust with the just.
If comparisons are lovely.
How lovely the world.

But there's a chance,
to redistribute the wrath.
Assuage the pain,
And carry the sad.
You know the word!
It's on the tip of your tongue.
Made for comprehending others
And wearing their shoes.
Empathy.
Quite a trick.
But then it's the only thing,
that can really help.
To return a semblance,
Of humanity
To the humans.

Connections aid comprehension,
A handy little fact.
So on we go with steemit,
The best we've got
At that.
All should remember,
A thing may reflect
It's parts.
Chimera or Frankenstein,
Will show their marks.
We journey with
Each other.
How will it end?
Bound by chains that may lift a planet.
Until the very end.
