Wild Winter Wheat

Perhaps not enough grain on each tiny head to devote my time to gathering... but at least I know I could gather some seed and replant if need be. I wonder what a loaf bread, baked from wild wheat whole grain flower, would taste like...

One day I will try this.

It’s a simple concept. Much like regular wheat, gather the grains from the harvested wheat heads, grind into fine flour, add water and yeast and a few other ingredients, then toss in the oven to bake and what you should get is bread.. in some form.

Perhaps I will take this over to the new land via planting some seeds..
