Greetings Steemians ! Its @bitrocker2020 from Malaysia

We have been actively promoting steem all over Malaysia in several cities over the past 2 years. From there we have had a lot of success in gaining more awareness of the Steem blockchain thru out the country.

Some of our events which happened around Malaysia.

And this was a workshop done specifically for Women to enable them to get on the Steem blockchain and create content.

Over the many months of promoting Steem to the general public, we realized that we also require to target the crypto community and to engage with them to show that Steem is not just any ordinary blockchain and most importantly Steemit.com is not Steem. There are so many new dapps out there which users can use to create content.

So by engaging with the "crpto community" we started doing talks at crypto events such as Crypto Rendezvous Penang.

And we also organized a Blockchain Conference which was held in Borneo in September 2018. This was attended by the Deputy Minister or Education which then provided us with a lot of awareness about the steem blockchain. We were out on the local newspapers and also local tv. Our focus was on educating the general public on the awareness of this Blockchain technology and how projects like Steem makes a huge impact to people's livelihood.

What is this Fundition Campaign all about?

This campaign is to acheive 2 major task :-

1. Continue offline events in major cities around Malaysia & South East Asia targetting mostly general public and also institutions.

2. Promote steem thru other online social media and run paid advertisements for all the events

What we have lined up so far ?

We have just completed 2 offline events in northern part of Malaysia.

We would be doing a few more this year where the next one would be towards the end of May 2019. Apart from that we are also lining up a few workshops to get users started on posting to the steem blockchain. We realized that just talk talk talk talks is ineffective if there are no follow thru with workshops to at least get all the questions out of the way.

So apart from running workshops, I have begun to do videos to provide basic introduction to DAPPS ... its simple videos done by me which hopefully it would help the new users.

Would also be using tutorials from steemonboarding's platform since its launched already and will greatly speed things up in explaining what Steem blockchain is all about.

These videos would also be shared on other social media in hopes to gain more awareness about these dapps which runs off the steem blockchain.

What the funds is going to be used for ?

Here is a breakdown on what funds received from this campaign going to be used for.

- Continuously pay expenses mostly for travel and accomodation as we require to travel from city to city

- Pay for paid advertisement to promote events

- Pay or sponsor for minor event expenses such as event space / food & beverage

- Run contests to get steemians to help create tutorial videos which can be shared to the community in different languages

- Purchase more swags such as the image below to give out during our events.
