Day 2, the final day, of the TechEx Europe 2023 event took place yesterday at Amsterdam RAI.
At the Blockchain corner, a panel of experts from UN and other organisations shared their opinions on transitioning from Web2 to Web3 in terms of regulations, governance, and reliability among other topics.
It was a unique chance to challenge them and redirect their thoughts based on the decentralized governance, and HIVE DAO.
My prompt was to do with HIVE DAO, effective governance system, and why HIVE is not just a buzzword but a solution to what they still deem as a shaky bridge.
By the time the panel left and next speaker came through, other people and I remained back still talking about how effectively HIVE has developed into nothing less than the ideal blockchain to adopt.
The HIVE networking bar, as far as I noticed, stood out like a flag. People found us there and HIVE was more popular than it was yesterday.
We had an amazing time there connecting with people, as you can see with @rubencress, @coldbeetrootsoup, @mcsamm, and @priyanarc.
Few months prior to the invasion in Ukraine, when I was practising in the regional hospital, I was discovering the tip of the iceberg of using HIVE as a form of currency for patient consultation in the outpatient department. It always remained as an unrealized idea.
Yesterday, this idea emerged once again and I spent some time among the healthcare audience looking to integrate Web3 tech in the industry. Albeit a tech event, a part of me felt very much back at the healthcare world in that time.
We had a very productive time there, and of course, a good time. Thanks @guiltyparties.
If I had to speak of only one memory sticks out to me among everything else, in the most pleasant way, is when @mcsamm and I were talking to Mistry, a masters student eager to learn and discover the world of blockchain and HIVE, is when he asked regarding DAO "What do you mean HIVE decides? Who is HIVE?" and we said "I am hive. And you will be hive." And at that moment he realized a level of ownership and sense of belonging that he had never experienced before - HIVE.
