In my "new" series "Way of the Peaceful Warrior" I will tell you about my life as daily as possible, but mainly about my sports activities.
(Renamed because I don't really strive for glory, but for other values)

This will be a daily article of my sporting activities and successes, as well as in the previous series.
I will tell you everything about my philosophy, training design, nutrition and also about my successes and failures.

In addition I intend to write articles about special topics, because I have a lot of experience and knowledge in some areas.

I am not a star or an important personality and I am not especially specialized in a certain topic; rather I am an all-rounder and try to unite as much as possible.
If you can learn anything from me, it is to be able to do everything!
It will be worth it for sure and you can always ask me everything in the comments about sport, nutrition and evetything else.

What did I do today?

I got a good sleep today. After a cup of green tea and a light, short workout I went to work. Tuesday at noon is luckily not very busy. I wanted to relax as much as I could today so that I could shine at the shooting competition.

There was a pork schnitzel to eat together with pork liver (liver is extremely healthy and should be eaten 1 time a week by EVERYONE). Normally I eat calf liver, but today a small exception. Vegetables and boiled potatoes as a side dish. I'll get into the habit of taking photos for the blog here more often ^^

Arriving home, I first went to bed and relaxed together with my book. Before my teammates arrived, I took a shower and went to sleep. I couldn't prepare better for the competition: I was ready!

Arrived punctually in the shooting hall we registered for the stand. Afterwards we sat down and had relaxed conversations until I was called. It was so far. Time to shine!

Fortunately I am someone who doesn't get very nervous during competitions, at least not negatively nervous. I would rather describe it as positive excitement. At the same time it tells me: "Okay young boy, now 110% concentration. No mistakes. Eazy Peazy through and deliver the best performance of your life".

So I went to my stand, clamped the target and drove the target 50 meters away from me by pressing a button. Meanwhile I already adapted my breathing. The target was ready, I am the next one.

I laid down on the bench, took a few breaths by chest breathing to fill my cells nicely with oxygen. I looked through the simple telescope, adjusted my posture and slowly changed from chest breathing to abdominal breathing to better relax the body. The target was firmly in my sights and I slowly pulled the trigger until I was virtually frightened by the shot, but at that moment the bullet had long since hit the target.

After each shot, I carried the target to me with the push of a button and examined the result. The first two of a total of twelve shots are test shots. I noticed that the rifle warped upwards. Since I was not allowed to adjust the rifle, I had to aim a little lower.

I kept repeating the described procedure until I had fired 12 bullets. My part of the competition was over for now. I examined the targets and could hardly believe it. Definitely the best result I have ever shot. Probably no sign of nervousness and stage fright. I had shot 90 out of 100 points!!!

I left the shooting stand and told my teammates about the brilliant performance and the characteristics of the rifle. Motivated by the good start, the rest of the team also did well. Our team ranking is not yet known, as there will be other participants shooting on Friday, but I had shot the third best result that evening!!! Simply unbelievable!

To celebrate the whole thing a bit we went to eat a good portion of meat while we had some relaxed conversations. A great evening! From tomorrow the training will be put on again. I think I will go directly to the gym to pump a round after getting up :D

A good preparation and planning is half the victory!
