Sunrise, Steps, & Speed: My 12K Journey Today 🚶♂️🌅💨
Today was one of those days that perfectly aligned my love for nature and my fitness goals. The day commenced with an early morning walk by the canal. As the horizon painted a symphony of colors announcing the day’s arrival, I managed to capture the essence of that sunrise, a moment of pure serenity. Amidst the usual verdant greenery, a solitary red leaf caught my attention, standing out boldly - a testament to nature’s quiet yet profound transitions.
But the day had more in store. My post-work walk wasn’t just any regular walk. I smashed my previous records, achieving an impressive average pace of 9:54/km over 5km. This wasn’t just about speed, but a symbol of my commitment and the progress I’ve made.
Now, a few weeks into my walking journey, I can genuinely feel the health benefits - both physically and mentally. My energy levels are up, the clarity of thought is sharper, and there’s an overall sense of well-being.
