That is a Prime bone-in ribeye steak with some great sides!
Yes, I am a BIG fan on steak! If I had it my way, I would eat it every night of the week! I really will eat all kinds, but my favorite cut is a bone-in ribeye or a porterhouse! Soooo good!
I like my steaks medium rare, and prefer to do them myself instead of go out and pay top dollar for someone else to make it (and not as good as me!). I have my gas grill and method dialed in – for a 1 pound ribeye, I do 5 mins per side using direct heat/flame. My spice of choice is a blend by McCormick named Spicy Montreal Steak seasoning. A liberal amount of that, combined with a perfect medium rare steak, and it melts in your mouth and has a perfect spiciness. Pair with a dry Cabernet Sauvignon and I am in heaven.
For this particular meal, my wife added some freshly-smashed mashed potatoes and side of mushrooms… delicious sides worthy of such a fine piece of beef!
