Was so good to have a quiet day with no mission. As it was the last day of the Great Cycle Challenge, I did choose to ride the bike. Do a loop up to Berry to stock up with goodies from The Treat Factory - they do magical curry sauces
Looking up to Berry Mountain and the Southern Highlands
Crossed Broughton Creek on the way out of Berry - not as brown as the crossing lower down two days back. Rode up Gerroa Rd to walk the top end of the path into Seven Mile Beach NP not walked before - view of the beach toward Gerroa
Looking south to Coolangatta Mountain
The walk down the cycle track had no orchids. Tried to work out how to get flower photos with the new phone - pro settings, manual focus and a bit of zoom
Change the speed to get colours closer to what I saw - native violet
Photo of dyanella came out a whole lot better
This caught my eye. Looks like a Moreton Bay fig that is enveloping a eucalyptus tree - amazing lattice work
Going 20 metres above ground
Cruisy 30 kms ride with no trailer brings to an end a big month for Kids Cancer
I emailed my list. I hammered my social media. I asked my friends. 26 people donated AND not one from this community. Would love to get just one of you to send me a few HIVE or HBD. Just add Kids Cancer to the memo and I will send the cash to the Kids Cancer charity here in Sydney
Or smash out your credit card or PayPal at https://mymark.mx/KidsCancerRide
Dinner: Friends over for dinner - Oysters Kilpatrick, Aussie prawns, Peking Duck- yum
