I shoot this photo at the Mazu Temple in Keelung. It was built in 1815, followed by reconstruction and some statue decoration.
This dragon column carving is quite three-dimensional, the dragon's expression is also lifelike. There are also many exquisite reliefs on the walls telling some religious stories. It's worth of visiting and appreciating those artistic carving.

這張照片是在基隆「慶安宮」拍攝的。
台灣的廟宇雕刻有相當的藝術性，最有名的自然是三峽的祖師廟，吸引了非常多的遊客及藝術創作者去觀摩與學習。有「李梅樹」教授的名聲加持，讓三峽祖師廟有「東方藝術殿堂」的美稱。
這間廟宇的雕刻當然沒有這麼有名，但是還是可以看得出來，這個龍柱雕刻得相當立體，龍的表情也栩栩如生。牆面上也有許多精緻的浮雕，述說一些宗教故事，蠻值得認真欣賞。
