Today is my birthday and the best way to celebrate a birthday is to cook your favorite dish ever. Of all the food my favorite is the "Pancit". It could be pancit bihon, sotanghon, or canton. But the most common that I am always cooking is Pancit Bihon. Sometimes I combine pancit bihon and canton in one dish. But today I am only cooking pancit bihon since I am on a tight budget. Also, I am cooking this dish because my husband is again very busy.
Ingredients
- Pancit Bihon (455 grams)
- Cabbage (200 grams)
- Onion (1, small)
- Garlic (1 clove)
- Soy Sauce (20-30 ml)
- Cooking oil (1 tbsp, for sauteeing)
Preparing the ingredients








How to cook
1. Sautee the onion and the garlic in cooking oil
2. Add the carrots and the cabbage, and stir until sauteed evenly.
3. Set aside when the carrots and cabbage are half-cooked
4. In the same pan add 1.3 liters and water
5. Add the pancit bihon (break into half)
6. Add Soy Sauce, stir
7. When the pancit bihon is cooked add the sauteed carrots and cabbage, stir
8. Turn off the heat when done stirring
9. Put some into a bowl and serve
