I did that thing again. That thing where I take a bunch of pictures and expect them to be perfect, crisp, and clear, with infinite and noiseless feather detail. That thing where I go to process the images and notice that the ISO was too high and the shutter too slow and the birds just too god damn far away to get the shots I was telling myself I was getting.
I did that thing where I almost scrapped the whole shoot because it didn't live up to my expectations.
