I came back to participate in the themed Saturday with a very current version, which are digital games! I'm not a big fan of games and other physical interaction sports, so as expected, I end up encouraging more console games, board games and smartphone games here at home.
One of the surest things I did was rescue the game collection from the Super Famicom console, or also known as Super Nintendo.

My original console from the 90s was like this one in the photo, where many years later I understood why it was called "Family Computer", which gives rise to the name Super FamiCom. It's a Japanese variation of the best-known console, they say.
I couldn't afford to acquire many different cartridges, as at the time I had a very humble life. But I ended up making the most of it. I never got to have the most popular games, but I got to know and learn some through friends or rental houses, where I invested a lot of time and small amounts of money. Gaming houses were the equivalent of LanHouses, but without the networks.
The good memories of my childhood are very strong references!
I never imagined that twenty years later I would have the opportunity to play the classics again with my family. In this case, part of it: my wife and my 9-year-old daughter.
With an updated console and a multi-inch television, the experience was very diverse, very different from my experience. I was able to provide my little one with guided learning that has earned her many points of emphasis.
One really cool thing is that fine motor coordination developed quickly, and it's very easy to notice this in your child. Logical and deductive reasoning was also improved, in addition to the time for decision making being sharply reduced.
These are good things, but we also have points that we are still working on. One of them is frustration through failure, when one cannot move forward. This point has been the most difficult for us to overcome. In my perception, I think that my little one needs to go through these situations to learn to deal with her feelings, and the game has provided her with that.
I almost forgot to mention... We're playing the Super Mario Saga. There are several versions released throughout the 90s, and I separated the final screens of the only game that we managed to complete until the end.

This version of Super Mario Bros. 3 is available in the compilation of games known as Super Mario All Stars. It was the version chosen because my wife had played this version as a child. I didn't have any skills with the weird controls in this version, as I learned to play Super Mario World.
To keep the disposition of the matriarch of the family, we chose to venture into this adventure! And after many days of games and saves, we managed to rescue the princess!

The experience has been very rewarding and I am using the opportunity to try to teach my youngest daughter a few things. I hope you enjoyed it and can take advantage of your moments to do the same!

Voltei para participar do sábado temático com uma versão bem atual, que são os jogos digitais! Não sou um grande adepto dos jogos e outros esportes de interação física, então como é de se esperar acabo por incentivar mais aqui em casa os jogos de console, jogos de tabuleiro e jogos de smartphone.
Uma das coisas mais certas que fiz foi resgatar a coletânea de jogos do console Super Famicom, ou também conhecido como Super Nintendo.

O meu console original dos anos 90 era como esta da foto, onde muitos anos depois entendi porque era chamado "Family Computer", que da origem ao nome Super FamiCom. É uma variação japonesa do console mais conhecido, dizem.
Eu não tinha condições de adquirir muitos cartuchos diferentes, pois na época tinha um vida bem humilde. Mas acabei conseguindo aproveitar muito bem. Nunca cheguei a ter os jogos mais badalados, mas consegui conhecer e aprender alguns através de amigos ou das casas de locação, onde investi muito tempo e pequenas porções de dinheiro. As casas de jogos eram o equivalente às LanHouses, só que sem a parte das redes.
As boas lembranças da minha infância são referências muito fortes!
Eu jamais imaginei que vinte anos depois eu iria ter a oportunidade de jogar novamente os clássicos junto com minha família. No caso, parte dela: minha esposa e minha filha de 9 anos.
Com um console atualizado e um televisor de muitas polegadas, a experiência foi muito diversificada, bem diferente da minha experiência. Consegui fornecer para minha pequena uma aprendizagem guiada que tem lhe rendido muitos pontos de destaque.
Uma coisa muito legal é que a coordenação motora fina se desenvolveu rapidamente, e é muito fácil de você notar isso na criança. Também o raciocínio lógico e dedutivo foi aprimorado, além do tempo para tomada de decisão ter sido bruscamente reduzido.
São coisas boas, mas também temos pontos que ainda estamos trabalhando. Um deles é a frustração mediante o fracasso, quando não se consegue avançar. Esse ponto tem sido o mais difícil de superarmos. Na minha percepção, acho que minha pequena precisa passar por essas situações para aprender a lidar com seus sentimentos, e o jogo tem lhe proporcionado isso.
Quase esqueci de falar.. Estamos jogando a Super Mario Saga. São diversas versões lançadas ao longo dos anos 90, e separei as telas finais do único jogo que conseguimos concluir até o final.

Essa versão do Super Mario Bros. 3 está disponível no compilado de jogos conhecido como Super Mario All Stars. Foi a versão escolhida pois a minha esposa havia jogado essa versão quando criança. Eu não tinha qualquer habilidade com os controles esquisitos desta versão, pois eu aprendi jogar com o Super Mario World.
Para manter a disposição da matriarca da família, optamos por nos aventurar nesta aventura! E depois de muitos dias de jogos e saves, conseguimos resgatar a princesa!
