Happy Caturday Everybody!
There's a thunderstorm going on here so we are all hunkered down inside. Today was a real scorcher outside, something called a heat dome is over the city-it was so hot and humid, Crypticat thought better of the situation and stayed inside most of the day. While she was busy being a cat, I was spending a little time learning about some of the new tribes or communities here on Steem.
Yesterday the professional camera was taken out for a kitty photo shoot. A Canon EOS 60D with a portrait lens, I'm not the photographer here but was told these photos were 'free.' You can certainly tell the difference from the usual photos taken with a Huawei P10 or an iPhone7s. Apparently, cat's aren't the easiest subjects for stills because they like to move and look where they please.

These two photos just go well together, I love cats. Speaking of cats, I've been reading some sarcasm about people who think us cat lovers aren't serious. Someone in the STEM community said that it's not a place to post about your cat! Well, cats are biological creatures, biology is a science and cats will be around here a lot longer than your silly token! What's with all these communities anyway? Be careful if you speculate on those coins, I have a feeling most will go to zero and we will still be posting about #caturday long after these tokens rise and fall from glory.

We could talk all night about how precious she looks but I'll continue ranting about tribes and tokens. What's with all the tag abuse? I assume it's because a lot of people are obsessed with collecting tokens and want to collect them all, I prefer to be obsessed with cats. It's better to focus on a few things that you know well, become respected in communities and grow from there. Unless you pour in a lot of funds, continually produce decent content the incoming downvotes with HF21 are going to rain on your token tagging and collecting parade. I wish there were a token for cat lovers, I would back that!
Thank you for reading and have a happy Caturday!
