Over looking Esquimalt Lagoon and straight at Victoria! Water plane swooping around for a landing and the cruise ship on the horizon, I love to watch the ships roll in and out of the harbour. This is by far the best place for a sit and chill in Victoria, quiet and semi secluded but very easy to find right on the side of Gratton Rd part of Perimeter Park. If you are ever here for the fireworks this is the place to be for a really good view of the whole show without the noise factor being overwhelming for your dog, I watch every year and the last 3 that has been my bench. There is always flowers here, I believe it was someone else’s favourite spot to yet I fear they are no longer with us and these flowers are in memory. I get the feeling whom ever those flowers are left for is sitting with me just enjoying the view, quiet and at peace. I hope to one day meet the person that leaves those flowers!
