I've been using the #nobidbot tag for some time now and I'm starting to wonder what's frowned upon by the people who watch this tag. Obviously people who use this tag are against pretty much all of the bidbots that are listed on the Steem Bot Tracker, but what about other services that don't exactly sell votes?
Using the Minnowsupport bot
On the Minnowsupport Discord, you have a bot which you can use to upvote your posts every 48 hours. I'm a bit hesitant to use this again, since you're essentially also getting a vote from a bot. I'm trying to use the #nobidbot tag on most of my posts, so I'd like to hear the opinion of other people on this.
Resteem Services
Now, I don't really use these personally, but I still like to hear what people think about this. They're not exactly bidbots, do some do offer their votes as well. They often employ shady business tactics to get more followers and regularly spam people with advertisements. I don't really think they have that much effect either, because most of their followers are probably bots or plankton.
Anything Else?
In case I have forgotten anything, please share anything you can think of what would be frowned upon. I personally upvote good posts that I see under the #nobidbot and #nobidbots tags which haven't used any regular bidbots. Sometimes I do check someone's account history to be sure.
I'm wondering how many people actually check these tags, so definitely leave a comment if you do look through these posts regularly. Thanks!
