Greetings to all members of this community. Here I am once again talking about my experience in the wonderful tattoo world, in this case about the tattoos I have on my body.
Since I was a teenager I have felt Passion for tattoos, getting the first one when I was fourteen... yes, I know.
My first tattoo was done by one of my classmate's brother, he was an apprentice and eager to practice at all cost, so it wasn't hard to convince him. It is a star with wings that I drew myself on the back of my notebook. I remember how furious my mom was and that she made me promise I would never get another tattoo in my life (and of course I lied). I do not regret it, I don't regret any of my tattoos to be honest.
Un saludo a todos los miembros de esta comunidad. Aquí estoy nuevamente hablando sobre mi experiencia en el maravilloso mundo del tatuaje, en este caso sobre los tatuajes que llevo plasmados en mi cuerpo.
Desde mi adolescencia he sentido pasión por los tatuajes, obteniendo el primero a los catorce años... si, ya se.
Mi primer tatuaje me lo hizo el hermano de una compañera de estudios, el era aprendiz y dispuesto a practicar a toda costa, así que no fue muy difícil convencerlo. Es una estrella con alas que dibuje yo misma en la última página de mi cuaderno. Recuerdo lo furiosa que estaba mi madre y que me hizo prometer que no volvería a tatuarme más nunca en la vida (y por supuesto que mentí). No me arrepiento, de hecho no me arrepiento de ninguno de mis tatuajes.
When I was nineteen I got the second and third. They're japanese characters that read "Golden dawn" and "eternal darkness", which are the titles of two episodes of my than favorite anime "Nightwalker"
A los diecinueve años me hice el segundo y tercero. Son caracteres japoneses en ambos pies que se leen "Dorado amanecer" y "Oscuridad eterna", los cuales son los nombres de dos episodios del que era en ese entonces mi animé favorito "Nightwalker".
Some time later I got a matching cupcake with my then best friend, we both still keep them even tho we are not that close anymore.
Poco después me hice un cupcake junto a mi mejor amiga de la época, ambas tenemos aún el mismo tatuaje a pesar de ya no ser tan cercanas.
When I was twenty-one I got a dead swallow and a coverup, "Ela" over my ex's initials. Ela stands for my name, my sister's and mother's (Daniela, Ornella and Mariela).
A los veintiuno me hice una golondrina muerta y un coverup, "Ela" sobre las iniciales de un ex. Ela es por mi nombre, el de mi hermana y el de mi madre (Daniela, Ornella y Mariela).
That same year I got my leopard print half sleeve, and started my family portrait half sleeve with a portrait of my grandma when she was young, my mom and a picture of my father as a child. It desperately needs a touch up.
También ese año me hice mi media manga de leopardo, e inicie la media manga familiar con retrato de mi abuela en su juventud, mi madre y una fotografía de mi padre cuando era un niño. Ya necesita ser restaurada urgentemente.
One year later I got a poppy flower on my elbow, and a sunflower on thy inner part... they are definitely the most painful tattoos I have ever gotten.
Un año más tarde me hice una amapola en el codo, y en la parte interior un girasol... definitivamente los dos son los tatuajes más dolorosos que tengo.
By that time my grandma passed away and I got a phrase she used to say in her honor "I sigh because I remember" in her handwriting.
Para ese entonces falleció mi abuela y me tatué en su honor una frase que ella sola decir "Suspiro porque me acuerdo" en su caligrafía.
A couple of years later I got my sphinx cat, and a bearded lady. The bearded lady as an inner joke because I have abnormal levels of testosterone, and the cat... just because.
Un par de años después me hice mi gato esfinge, y una mujer barbuda. La mujer barbuda como chiste interno porque tengo niveles de testosterona anormalmente altos, y el gato... pues porque si.
Then I got a cat's skull with the latin phrase "Ad astra per aspera", and a crown on my thumb. The number thirteen was handpokes some years later by a dear friend.
Luego me hice un cráneo de gato con la frase en latín "Ad astra per aspera", y una corona en el pulgar. El número trece fue un handpoke que me hice años más tarde con amiga.
A while later I started my backpiece, a Phoenix in a traditional Japanese style... but then I found out I was pregnant and that project remains unfinished even now, three years later, but I may be getting it finished soon. Maybe in a couple of weeks I will show over here the progress.
Un tiempo más tarde inicie mi backpiece, un ave fénix en estilo tradicional japonés... pero luego de unas cuantas sesiones me enteré de mi embarazo y el proyecto sigue inconcluso ya pasados tres años, aunque próximamente continuaremos. Quizá en un par de semanas por acá les vaya mostrando el progreso en cuanto lo retomemos.
The most recent tattoos are my Edgar Allan Poe, a ñatita and my finger handpokes...
Los más recientes son mi Edgar Allan Poe, una ñatita y los handpokes de los dedos...
And of course, the ones I did on myself: Luci from DisEnchantment inside of a bottle, and Flapjack!.
