Hard forking the 20 with minnow like me

Hello all! Time for me to voice out what have I gone through during the hard fork session! So this afternoon I've been eating my chapati at the near by restaurant and have an encounter with a fork! What the fork?! Yeah, this is yet another meaningful shit post for me as I intend to keep this record in the block chain for long long time (hopefully I have enough RC to broadcast it though).

So this is what happened. Some of my idiotic moves that I think I seriously hurt my TV without realizing it. You may wanna take a look at this and try to reduce wastage of precious RC. I know different level of SP has different level of percentage requirement on their RC. In general, per transaction came with a price tag now. So, we need to be extra careful on every move. Some of these insignificant move can really hurt our backside. So here we go, things that I did normally during bandwidth era, and now a costly move.

Converting SBD to Steem and send to power up

Usually, we put an order in the internal market, someone take up the order, we bring back some steem. And power up to make us stronger. This was done without a cost, previously. Now, I totally forgotten, place a market order is literally sending SBD to the market, and when somebody take up the order, I need to retrieve my STEEM back. And once I have my STEEM, I need to use the power up button to vest in, which is another transaction. As we all know, currently we are receiving SBD payout, so to shorten the transaction, time to consider to make use of @blocktrades

With this, can save up some transaction RC cost. Send SBD, received in Steem Power. That's it. Of course, every good thing came with a price tag. You need to consider the time to accumulate your RC, the amount you're sending over for conversion, and then decide whether you wanna go with the old school way to trade the SBDs with STEEM before powering up to save some exchange rate but lose more RC, or let blocktrades handle it and save some time to wait for regenerating RC.

Hey follow me, I follow you back

Come on guys. At some point we did this once, probably some of you still doing it. I'm not shy about it sometimes I did it too. With the new hard fork, every forking activity came with a forking price tag. The moment you forking click on the follow button, there goes RC. The moment you forking click on the upvote button, there goes RC. The moment you make a comment to the person, there goes 4x more RC spend on an upvote goes. Holly Molly mother forking RC gone just like that. Luckily, browsing the block chain doesn't cost you anything(yet). With @esteemapp is free to use! There's an activity bar can be used.

With this, you can browse through the people who me followed you, head over to their profile and checkout their articles, see if you like them before you hit the follow button, which will forking cost you RC ultimately. Wait! What if I want someone to follow me?! Simple, write a forking good piece and start praying. You do not need to inform anyone you followed them. If they wanna follow you, they will forking follow even if you haven't upvote them before.

Oh I made a mistake in my post!

Well, I did mine. About 30 hours from hard fork, I tried to make my second post. What I did was hitting the submit button, I thought it didn't go through. After few hours I tried again without checking my profile. Homagard! I double posted! And someone upvoted my post, I couldn't delete the post. This is bad, seriously bad. That left me no choice but to hit the edit button. After that, I made some changes in the second post, apologize to my followers. So I went back in my post and check again, there's some mistake still, I hit the edit button again, this time when I hit the submit button, arrggghhhh! I got no enough RC to perform the transaction! Come on guys, whilst the platform is still free to browse, check first before posting. Only made changes to the post unless necessarily.

Finally, I wish to take this opportunity to wish everyone happy hard forking the hard fork 20. Cut down the complain and start adapting. I read that the guys from the dev team are coming up with a patch tonight to over come the forking problem by increasing 10x. These tips may not apply anymore. But I think it's a good way to practice to cut down the block chain expanses, to keep things lean, clean, and affordable. They can increase it by 10x multiplier, they can forking divide it by 10 on the next fork.

Cheers
