Hello all! Another week and it's time again to do another #myhivegoals post, a series idea started by started by @jongolson. I'm going to look at the progress I've made on my Hive goals, as well as give a few tokens I'm looking at right now. If you are here for the comment SBI giveaway, well, we'll get to that too.

This is my first entry participating in #saturdaysavers. I like how @shanibeer encourages people to make and keep goals on Hive with that program, so I'm going to start joining in. Here's their recent post if you're interested.

Let's start with my Hive goals.

~ Hive & HBD ~

My current goal is 25k Hive.

This past week I made 199.58, bringing me to 19192.61 total Hive Power. Almost to the big 20k level! I don't know why I didn't make 20k my goals for this year. Too easy, I suppose.

Anyway, that's 76.8% of my goal!

Math time. 25k - 19192.61 gives us 5807.39. Divided out by the days till the first of next year, we get 75.4 Hive needed per day to reach 25k by that point.

And it's up again... A gain of 200 HP every week is just not enough. It's times like this that I wish Hive would drop to a dime again so I could buy a lot and make up the difference. 1000 Hive for $100... yes please! Although that'd still be over $500 even at that level. Hmm.. better if whales just start upvoting me!

On the plus side, my Hive curation average went up to 3.564 for the past 7 days. That's pretty cool! Curation is as close to free money as we get. Be paid for reading posts. I know that's nothing compared with what you folks with 100k+ HP get in curation rewards, but I'm pretty happy about it.

~ Hivebuzz Yearly Author ~

I haven't made this a goal, but there is the fact that I've published a post every day this year so far, putting me on course to qualify for Hivebuzz's first Yearly Author award.

Writing and publishing daily is not a goal because it's just something I do. If something comes up in life and I can't, oh well, but as long as I have the ability, I always want to push myself to write and publish.

All that said, if I can keep this up for the rest of the year and get that award, that'd be pretty cool.

Moving on to my Hive Engine goals. I'm not actively chasing any of these goals right now, as I am completely focused on 25k HP, but I do watch them, earn some, and buy when they dip down on any given day.

Only three I'm watching closely. #saturdaysavers tells me I should focus on one, so I suppose that would be PIMP. I've been involved with #PIMP since @enginewitty created it and I'm a huge fan of what he has created and what he's doing.

That said, I am chasing the other two also!

~ PIMP ~

My goal with PIMP is 100k. So far only three people have reached that level, and one of them is the founder. Will I get the fourth?! Time will tell!

I made 248.8713 PIMP last week, putting me at 58500.09 — 58.5% of my goal. 60k here we come!

~ BRO ~

My overall goal here is 1000 BRO to make it into dragon club.

Last week I bought and earned 0.542, which puts me at 521.75 total or 52.2% of my goal.

~ LGN ~

LGN is the last of the three Hive Engine tokens that I'm watching closely. Unfortunately last week it looks like all the cheap LGN finally dried up and it's now going for only 1 Hive. Up to 1.14 as I write this. That is still cheaper than the 1.4 that the coin is set at, but almost 50% higher than what I've been buying it for in the past weeks.

My goal here is 2k. I made 75.175 last week and am up to 950.126.

Last to my savings but not least: Silver!

I picked up another silver ¥100 coin. I love this one because it has aged in a very pleasant way.

I'm now up to 7 of these guys.

These coins at 4.8g and are 60% silver, meaning I need 11 of them to have a troy oz of silver. While I don't quite have 11 of this design, I do have that when adding in some of my other silver ¥100's!

Yeah, a 1 oz round would certainly make it easier to have an ounce of silver, but buying junk Japanese silver is fun.

That said, junk silver takes up a lot of space, so I probably won't be buying much more of it (unless I come across deals) and will start to focus more in on 1 oz silver rounds.

Well I say that now anyway. We'll see what I do next time I go into the coin shop...
