Our new family member

Please welcome a new member of our family..

His name is Maxo, he is 6 months old and he is the cutest puppy in the world (I know that everyone says it about their dogs 😊)

My parents are divorced, and I grew up mainly with my mom. I left home when I was 18 (long long long time ago) and my mom stayed in my hometown with my siblings. Recently my brother and sister left home as well, and my mom was alone. My brother had an idea of getting a dog for her for some time and now it seemed to be the right moment to actually get one that will keep her company.

In June, it was the first time that I met him. He jumped all over me and we instantly became buddies. I spent a lot of time with him during our stay in Slovakia as my mom was working. We took him with us on all our day trips.

He has a very good character, lots of energy and he likes to play. He loves to run around like a maniac but he also enjoys cuddles. A lot of them.. And when he is not in the mood he simply turns around and leaves the room 😊

He loves treats and would never ever refuse a piece of watermelon. And carrot of course. He is crazy about carrots. He also likes to hide his treats for later. It happened that we found them before he remember that he hid them. Or maybe it wasn't the right time for them yet.

We didn't have pets before and I didn't know how it feels to have such a happy little fellow at home. Now I know, and I must admit that I fell in love with Maxo and I am very happy that he became a part of our family.

He likes to play on the grass - the longer the better...

My mom told me that he would not put his paws in a brook. Well, he did and if the water would be deeper, I'm sure he would dive right in. It was 36 degrees Celsius so who wouldn't like to take a dip?

What should you do after getting out of the brook? You should play with mud and get as dirty as possible! And of course, you have to take the biggest branch with you back home. Or at least you should try...

It's time to go home and take a shower. He doesn't like showering as he knows that he looks like a big rat when he's wet 😊

The first thing he did on our walk after his shower was rolling on the grass. There was some plant that stuck to his hair and he walked with those little green pieces for the rest of the day...

Apparently it made him very happy...

And this was the look that he gave me after I told him that he will have to take a shower again. I am sure that he understood me 😊

We had so much fun with him and I'm looking forward to seeing him again soon.

Thank you for reading!

Cheers,
Martina
