I had the strangest dream last night. You know how they're generally the most weird and, in some cases, impossible situations or actions. So I dreamed I was working in a big open-plan office with a load of women. The only problem was they were all constantly farting! It wasn't smelly or anything, just, umm? Annoying. The women were all shapes and sizes, but they would every now and then raise a butt cheek and let rip! 🎺
I said to myself: "I can't take this anymore, I'll have to leave!"
But then a new woman appeared; however, even though she was new, she'd worked there for years. How can that be? She's new and yet has worked there for a long time? Anyway, this new woman was not farting, and so I was like: "OK, maybe I can cope a little while longer." she then got up from her desk and said: "Would you like a coffee?" to which I replied: "I'd prefer a cup of tea if that's OK?" and as she headed towards the Tea Urn at the end of the room promptly started farting! Fortunately, the dream ended there, but I've been racking my brain what it was about.
The wife was no help; when I told her the dream, all she could do was fall about laughing!
As for the open-plan office, all I can think is maybe it relates to the time I worked for Avery Berkel doing Credit Control, but that was probably twenty-five years ago! It is the only time I've ever worked in an open-plan office. Now, while they were all predominantly female, they certainly never broke wind in front of me, so the question remains, what is all the farting about?
