Happy Sunday Steemies!
PEACE is not a clever way of showcasing your imposed superficial friendliness while brewing up violent tendencies from within. It means to give the due share of respect to everyone's opinion and thinking before putting your ideas into action. It also means forgetting all that happened in the past - hoping and believing that a better day, a better future is possible. Our duty - young and old to create a better place for the succeeding generations. Peace nourishes your soul and the souls of others.
We live in a world lacking in COMPASSION - it must be learned. Witnessing the suffering of another person can evoke raw emotion of fear or sadness or repulsion. Compassion means to put yourself in another person’s shoes - develop an awareness of the suffering in another person. Have a genuine concern for all of humanity, not just your own tribe. Practice random acts of kindness and expect nothing in return. Believe in the dignity, respect, equality, justice of everyone. Live peacefully and avoid engaging in violent behavior. We can agree to disagree, and still live peacefully.
Always try to stay peaceful and compassionate even when others are unkind to you. If you ever in a position to help others, do it. Sow the seed of kindness and compassion, spread love wherever you go. Let no one ever come to you without leaving happier. God will bless you more! Let there be joy, fun, and laughter. Your heart’s strength is measured by how hard it holds on, however, your peace is measured by how long you deal with others while human life without compassion is hell on earth.
“Compassion is sometimes the fatal capacity for feeling what it is like to live inside somebody else’s skin. It is the knowledge that there can never really be any peace and joy for me until there is peace and joy finally for you too.” – Frederick Buechner
