Batocera rufomaculata

This is a little bit unfortunate because as beautiful as the color of this longhorn beetle, it apparently has a bad past. even though I love to see wild animals and little creatures, I don't want to see this beetle among my crops if I do have one.

This long-horn beetle of Batocera rufomaculata can be a big problem on its larvae stage because the larvae will bore into the tree trunk, and eat the tree inside. Thus causing damage to the trunk and potentially killing the said crop.

Look at the eyes of this beetle and also the bright yellow stripes o along its body. It looks so nice.

Who would have thought that we should be aware of the presence of this little guy around the house or the field? Since it might indicate that there will be some pest attacks coming your way.

You can also see that it has two red spots on its neck which add some beauty to its body.

And then now I have longer photos of this guy so that you get the sense of its size.

I think I only use one extension tube for these shots.
