I have seen some macro lovers doing so night photo hunting to get better photos of insects or any reptile while they are sleeping or not too cranky as the way usually does during the day. I don't have any partner or equipment to do a night photo hunt. And it will be super weird, I am alone with my camera in the dark of the night.
Some of the nocturnal animals are moths, and they are various in size and also in color and pattern. And since they are nocturnal you can only see them active at night and attracted to light, if you want to get them alive I guess mostly you will find them at night.
But also often times you can find them resting during the day, in places where they were attracted to the light the night before, and that is where I found this beautiful Amerila astreus moth.

This moth has a beautiful color on its body, a combination of white, read and some black dots.
