One of the hard challenges that I find when doing macro shots with my current gear is that when the media where the subject is resting reflects too much light back to the sensor. It will give a lot of haze in the result. It then loses the sharpness and then the overall photos look cloudy.
This is also what happens in this photo shoot of the Huntsman Spider. I found it stays on the glassy door. Most of the photos that I have of this spider are hazy. I also have increased a lot of sharpness and dehaze during the editing process.
Somehow I love the result after the edit not so natural looking, and some of the photos look really different, the color of the spider is totally different, even though it is in the same place, and almost the same camera setting, only the angle is a little bit different.
