The Lizard Princess 🦎

Took another field trip last week with the dragon princess. Again, to one of our favorite destinations, Cumberland Caverns. You've seen these before a few times already, so I refrained from taking an assload of pictures. We did get a few ghost stories deep in the unlit parts of the cave that caused a few to scream. My favorite part though, wasn't even in the caves this time.

@lunamoon found a tiny dragon! This eastern fence lizard is smaller than my pinky and you can see the size comparison under my thumb. Not very often noticed in public places, it's maybe only the third one I've ever seen. They're real skittish and since they're so small, easily hidden. We stayed after the other kids boarded the buses to assure it had safe passage back to its wild home.

Was a great outing full of fun and just some quality daddy daughter time. In case you forget, let me remind you to REMEMBER TO BE YOU! I always am, even as a star child lighting the darkest of times.
