Today was the start of the World Cup for Brazil.
Considering the Netherlands is not playing it's the county I'm cheering for this year.
Man it sure is different with a Brazilian audience then a Dutch one!
They are so loud!
Half the match I had to cover one ear for protection.
It was a lot of fun though!
Before the match we watched Germany lose which was sort of nice for them because the 7-1 still runs deep.
It's not that they don't like Germany just that this year they would prefer not to run in to them :)
After we had a plate of feijoada.
The feijoada was served with rice and a salad but also this.
It's called Farofa.
It's a cassava flour (this one filled with extra goodies).
It was delicious. (I went back 2 more times).
Sadly Brazil couldn't take home the win and had to settle for a draw mainly due to Switzerlands strong game.
But with two more matches to go we have good hope it will be alright!
