I guess the game Steem Monsters has us all feeling like kids again.
The success of the game is an amazing sight to behold and I think it's a wonderful addition to the steem blockchain.
By now I have collected all the cards and I'm eagerly waiting to play the game.
Then 1 week ago @aggroed (co-creator of STEEM MONSTERS) made a post....
A week ago he put out an auction.
The auction was about the opportunity to become the first monster boss in the game other Steemians have to fight when the game is released.
Including a backstory and monster design.
O man....a childhood dream! I can tell you that!
I always wanted to be a character in a game.
And now on the blockchain that changed my life and in a game I think will be fantastic!
O, yes!
I made a bid straight away and was instantly out bided.
I then read the post again and realised this:
I created an auction battle plan.
I would patiently wait for the post payout to arrive..and strike.
Today was the day.
I waited patiently while time of the payout was nearing.
I expected so many last minute action!
My hands were sweating when the time to strike came.
I put in my bid in the reply window and waited....
30 seconds....20 seconds....10 seconds....
I pressed POST.
When the dust settled I realised I had won!
I have been on cloud 9 ever since!
What a dream come true.
Work on the back story has already started and I know already know what monster I want it to be.
It's fun to be a kid again!
