When Maria found out that Ken, her husband of almost twenty-five years, was leading a double life the first thing she felt was relief.

Apparently, Ken had another family - and another job, too - on the other side of town. Maria was relieved because she was worried that she lived such a boring life and had nothing to blog about.

Now, she was the woman who didn't know her husband had another life.

Also, she was relieved because she could divorce the dirty bastard and take him for as much money as she could.

Her solicitor (recommended to her by her friend Helen) shook her hand and then said, "I have some bad news, I'm afraid Maria." She flopped down into the chair and listened as Mr Cork - for that was the solicitor's name - proceeded to tell her that Ken had married the other woman first and that her marriage was therefore illegal.

Maria was delighted. So much material it might lead to a book. Or at the very least a Netflix documentary.
