After a weird week that was actually much more because it was two in one. Huh? Well, last weekend wasn't because I was at a wedding fair. With a stand.
The weekend before that, the country's electricity provider started rolling blackouts because of a sudden slew of problems. Life, work and menus needed a whole lot more planning and management.
The week just passed, ended at our local Pottery where an evening of food and music saw us buy beautiful bowls and get free food.
The beautiful bowls were dragooned into Sunday Supper. One of the things I enjoy is when we can tell our guests that the tableware is by talented locals - and the stories behind the pieces that come from my mom, lovely friends, or just random, spur-of-the-moment purchases.
Because of the electrickery challenges, we kept numbers low this week. It never ceases to amaze me that diners always seem to enjoy themselves and tell us so. We must be doing something right.
