A couple of weeks ago, The Husband declared the beans spent. After presenting me with a measly picking. No point in watering them any more. Waste. Then we had about 50mm of rain.
Yesterday, he presented me with another bucket of bean bounty. They became part of a salad supper on a day when the weather belied autumn. Along with the tomatoes - more garden loot.
