The other day I tried out the new Dtube. I have been uploading to Dtube nearly everyday since the end of 2017. I really enjoy the frontend and I always look forward to the updates.
My first impression was an ok one. Because I am more of a creator/ user I focus on my ability to get my content out. I do not really have a technical background or understanding of those types of changes.
I liked how it shows that I am logged in in a different place. Not just an avatar in the corner. One change that I thought was tricky was starting to upload the video before I uploaded my snap. Due to an issue that I had with Dtube in the beginning I have always loaded the snap before the video. That is my trick to get it to load.
I did have an issue with the tags. I am used to entering 4 tags and hitting enter between each one. My experience was that I could only enter 1 tag, and it wasn't even really the focus of the video.
I love the blockchain and all of the many frontends. I think that the changes are always going to benefit many people. I look forward to the future.
