#ULOG 660 - Daily Thoughts - 26 Mar 19 - Homesteading Today...

Good Morning, Steemians! :D

It was a chilly start to our day here, -11 C that felt like -16, hopefully it warms up later. :D Our handsome grand-puppy Shadow didn’t seem to mind the cooler temperature though. :D

Our pretty puppy mom Karma playing with her beautiful daughter Mya and handsome son Tiny. :D

The lovely Lady spending a few minutes alone. :D

I went back to bed for a bit after the dogs all did their morning ablutions and when I woke back up my legs and feet were very warm, I looked up and found out why. :D Our dapper puppy dad Dakota was on my feet and his beautiful daughter Mya was on my legs. :D

It was strange that our handsome grand-puppy Shadow wasn’t on the bed with me, I knew he wouldn’t be far, and he wasn’t, he was right beside me on the floor. :D

Red and the hens were happy to be out in the sunshine again this morning, despite the cooler temperature. :D

Here comes our dapper puppy dad Dakota, his kids wanted back outside, so he wanted back in, LOL. :D

It was garbage day here and once the garbage man had gone by and it was safe to take one of the dogs with me, I headed up to the curb to get the empty garbage can with our handsome grand-puppy Shadow, he got their first of course. :D He loves to go for walks with his grandpa and I, as soon as the snow leaves, we’ll get to go for longer ones into our backyard, that’ll make him and all the other dogs very happy. :D

We had a visitor on the way back down the driveway, I didn’t think I was going to get a picture, but this one seems to have come out pretty good. :D I’m not sure what kind of bird it was, not our usual little black/brown and white ones, but just as neat to watch soaring and diving and soaring again. :D I wonder if any birds ever get motion sickness, I would if I was a bird. :D

Red and the ladies finished up their treat this afternoon, they’re going to enjoy tomorrow’s treat even more. :D My handsome husband is taking me into town for a date now that we’re both feeling better, we’re going to go see the new Captain Marvel movie and we’ll have popcorn left over, the hens, puppies and grand-puppies all love popcorn. :D

Buddy wasn’t quite ready for his pre-supper nap to end, but Leroy, Princess, and Joker were ready to enjoy the last bit of their day before heading to the barn for supper. :D

The herd heading to the barn, a wee bit early, but none of them minded getting their evening oats early. :D

While my handsome husband was driving us into town to see a movie, we saw these deer grazing in our friends’ field as we went down the hill. :D

I missed the sunset tonight because I was watching the new Captain Marvel movie starring Brie Larson at the Atlantic Cinema’s Theater in town. :D It was pretty good, I’m looking forward to the continuation of the story in the Avengers movie coming soon. :D
We’ve made it home safely, time for me to get my posts done for today and get them into my blog. :D
