Reflection
Donald Williams was an American country music artist and songwriter. He was in 2010 inducted into the American Country Music Hall of Fame before his death in 2017.
The lyrics of I Believe in You was written by Sam Hogin and Roger Cook. The song was however released in August 1980 by Don Williams.
I believe in You is a song that slightly deviates from the norms of society. The song discredits many popular beliefs and opinions regarding conventional things and events.
The singer says he doesn't believe in such mundane things like the price of gold, superstars, organic foods, etc.
Instead, the singer believes in love and human beings like mum and dad, you, babies etc. In a way, I think the song reminds us to be more people centred than concerning ourselves with irrelevancies.
