Let's see that from the other side too.
Snow is weird.
I'm exhausted. This thing that I have, a little like asthma, tired, common cold, headaches, aches and pain in my legs and heart racing when I try to sleep, promises nothing good. I know what this is and although I do know better, couldn't avoid it.
I just needed to make my fitness dance class a little bit harder. Added "few" more jumps and because I need the money, substituted few more classes. And now I suffer from overtraining.
I was kinda hoping that this would be just a cold. And I was hoping that it's just my asthma. Yes, I have asthma but that is normally in control as long as I remember to take my medicine and add it if needed. If I have a cold, if it's really could outside or if there's lots of dust in the air.
But no. I'm exhausted. Overtrained. Got 13k steps today and I think half of it is jumping.
Gonna lay low for couple of days, although I do have a class on Sunday. I wonder if I could just lay on the floor and shout to my customers: PUSH, RUN, SHOW THAT KETTLEBELL WHO'S IN CHARGE!
I wish so much that people would understand the value of slow body maintenance classes too. Because I need to work, but if most of my classes are crazy jumping and dancing classes like fitness dance and not body maintenance or stretching classes, I can't substitute that many classes in addition to my own classes. The adding of tough and hard classes has to happen gradually, not doubling the normal amount at once.
I would like to help out other instructors and substitute their classes, but as there seems to be more crazy jumping classes than light and slow classes because people seem to like pumping iron and jumping high more than doing low heart rate classes, I can't. I wish people would understand that we all need every kind of activity. Also the body maintenance kind. Slow things that do not built big muscles.
Oh well. This weeks and this fitness dance programs favourite steps are sailor shuffle and double kick ball change.
I wanna sleep now. Preferably two days in a row. And someone could make me pancakes. With ice-cream and berries. And I love mango Lassi. That would be awesome. And then some more sleep. Let's see if it's possible.
Next week the construction gods are going to saw bigger doorways to our staircase for the new lift. To every floor of course. Stone drilling coming up.
Add here aaaaaaaal the swearwords you know and please invent more. That's how I feel now.
