While I certainly can admire anyone that is trying to raise money for charity, especially something so horrible as Alzheimer's disease, that doesn't mean that i have to pretend that it is good or in this case funny.

The live show was filmed at the Hollywood Palladium in March of 2018 and to be honest I have no idea how long it has been viewable on Netflix. Since your viewing of it in no way contributes to the financial success of the thing I would say you can skip this one without feeling bad about it.

The show starts out with a funny live-action sequence where some of the bits were pre-filmed but most of it is taking place live. This is actually quite good and involved mostly interactions between Seth Rogan and Nick Kroll and unfortunately that is kind of where it lost me. After a massive introduction sequence of all the names involved which includes the aforementioned and also people such as Sacha Cohen, the Muppets, and the usual suspects like Sarah Silverman, it kind of gets boring and not funny.

I've never seen Seth do stand-up and to be honest he seems out of place up there... dare I say he looks uncomfortable.

The comedians tried to do fresh material but despite the fact that I watch a lot of stand up, I hadn't heard of very many of them and was mostly looking forward to the Muppets, which unfortunately was also not funny.

I admire what they are trying to do here but just because it is for a good cause doesn't mean that I have to pretend to like it. After the third comedian and barely a chuckle out of me, i switched it off and I think many other people have likely done the same. I suppose if you were in the audience you at least got something to eat. This currently has a 16% Rotten Tomatoes score and as expected, all the professional critic give it high marks because they are afraid of being dubbed as anti Alzheimer's disease research (this is what i think, because I can't imagine anyone giving this 5-stars.) I think one of the funniest IMDB reviews says "If you torrented this, you got ripped off."
