Hello, fight lovers! Wait, what? Fight lovers? Yes, because today we're going to talk about a game where you can hear the sound of fighting, blood and bones. Mortal Kombat X! You might wonder why I'm playing this game now because the new Mortal Kombat game is out and it's quite expensive. And since I didn't buy it, I tried to quench my desire to buy it by playing this game haha.
I'm not going to talk too much about the story content of the game because there might be people who play this game in the future and I don't want to spoil it for them and ruin their gaming experience, but just know that we hear the story from every angle and you fight every character you see at least once. I think that's good because it allows you to get to know all the characters and learn the fighting style.
I played mostly the story mode and the single combat mode and I can say that the game is really fun. I didn't sit down and play the game for hours, I finished the game by playing for an hour or two every day and I really enjoyed all the stories and the fights. All the characters seemed to be balanced in strength and I have to say that only one of them was really challenging, it had to be Erron Black. He does very annoying combo after combo and he stops you from moving and he really does a lot of damage. I mean more than you can imagine haha. Before you know it the round is over. By the way, I have to say that the story mode doesn't last very long. It lasts about 9 hours and if you skip the story and just do the fights, it will be much shorter.
I love Mortal Kombat style games, but it's been a long time since I played them. I remember I bought this game in a summer sale a few years ago and I bought it for a very good price and I didn't have the opportunity to play it after that because of university, exams and I thought that my computer was really not enough and it really is, no matter what anyone says, laptops are not made for playing games, but after lowering the graphics settings, I was able to play the game without lagging.
It took me about 30 minutes to get used to the game, I learned a few combos and I can say that I really miss this genre. Destroying my opponent! Yes, sometimes they destroy me, but as long as the difficulty level is not too high, I destroy them haha. I really enjoy it. The sounds and music in the game are really good, they put you in the atmosphere and make you feel the fight.
As for my favorite character, Scorpion is the best for me. He's probably not the character I play the best, but I like his combos. Pull the opponent to you, punch, use your special ability and repeat. It looks visually perfect. This character has been my favorite for a very long time. I loved playing with Scorpion and Quan Chi in Mortal Kombat 4. The ability where he disappears and starts kicking the opponent in the back was my favorite haha. Who is your favorite character in the series? Don't forget to mention it in the comments.
One thing you should be careful with this game is that you shouldn't let young children play this game because it has a lot of violence. Blood, bone breaking scenes, not to mention the fatality. They're very cool and I like watching them, but definitely a child shouldn't see them. Who knows what they are exposed to on the internet every day, but that's not the topic of this post.
It's really hard to get screenshots of the fights in the game because you see blood all the time and I didn't want to mark this post as NSFW. Still, I managed to get a lot of great screenshots and I'm sharing them here. Mortal Kombat X was an overall 10 out of 10 adventure for me. I had a lot of fun and would definitely recommend it to anyone who loves the genre. I hope I can get newer games on sale soon and experience them on a better PC.
Thanks a lot for reading, I hope you enjoyed it. If you've played this game before, I'd love to read your feedback in the comments. Also, if you have tried the newest game Mortal Kombat 1, please share your opinion about it. Do you think it's a game that deserves its price? Take care and have a great day!
