A few months ago when I began announcing the upcoming brand change of my community from the @steemitbloggers to the “Power House Creatives” as well as the structural changes which this would bring within the community itself in terms of making commercial social media platforms an active and inclusive part of our server in order to further promote our members as well as the #steem blockchain – I was met with a relative amount of resistance for a variety of reasons, all of which I am completely respectful of, but I must say that I am thrilled to have seen a huge turnaround in perspective since we took part in the @theycallmedan dpoll.
Throughout the duration of this poll, I hit twitter like a virus on steroids haha – as @nathanmars and hundreds of others became witness to hehe… and as the days went on, the rally of support rolling in not only on Twitter - but ALL other commercial social media sites including Instagram and Facebook became GLARINGLY obvious!!! I connected with individuals and communities from all around the world and PLENTY of them supported us with their votes as well as their general “like and share” support, in fact some of them actually began publishing posts and videos to help us along the way! It literally blew me away – and it was throughout THAT period that I knew without a shadow of a doubt that I had made the right decision with regards to our community shift.
Since then I have continued to engage heavily on all counts, and am still amazed at how people are truly clubbing together to make a positive impact for #STEEM via other platforms. I think what excites me most about all of it though, is how it is bringing all of us together on #steemit. It just goes to show how much we CAN change things, when we really put our minds to it!
I would like to bring highlight to the amazing people that have really been ploughing their passion into this and also to those that have shown amazing upvote support to these endeavors – and there really are SO many, so if I did omit anyone – please accept my apologies!

Because of all this HUSTLE I created the #steemtweets tag for people to add to their #STEEM tweets - so that I could easily identify those that are in support of this “mission” as well as acknowledging these posts about it - and therefore allowing the opportunity for me to support them in return for their efforts. That has worked out fabulously and I will continue to publish #steemtweets posts on a regular basis so that we can retain the fantastic momentum that has been generated thus far.
