A lot of folks have been asking me about unschooling recently. "What is it?" "How is it different than homeschooling?" "Is there some standard way of doing 'unschooling'?" "Is unschooling even legal in Japan!?"

I want to address these questions and give a basic definition of unschooling, and the foundational ideas behind the "movement."

I'll also be giving an update on the unschooling meetup group I've started here in Niigata!
