Every year during the Month of July, there is a ten-day Gent Festival. During this festival, the city center is transformed into one big place to party. Stages are set up for musicians, and the streets are lively. You will see people enjoying street food, drinks, dancing and good music.
I went with my two girlfriends, Angela and Candelle! We drove from Luxembourg to Gent in three hours. Upon arrival we took a stroll around the main city center. This was my first time in Gent, and the buildings were so beautiful.
The atmosphere was so fun and even though I cannot speak Flemish (the local language) it was still so fun to see everyone enjoying themselves.
We started at 7PM and went home around 2AM. This festival never stops, so people literally party until the next morning.
