Most of you know I am living in Mainland China but I decided to finally leave and try out a new place. My job and lifestyle here is very comfortable but I dont see it as a place I can live in long term due to visa restrictions and other things (censorship).
I had a great time in Taiwan and see it as a merge between Chinese and Western culture. If you work there for five years, you are eligible to become a permanent resident. Awesome. Its unlike the mainland where I can never assimilate.
This will be a new adventure for me as I will have to make a living because my job is only part time. I chose a part time teaching job because it allows me to live in Taiwan without needing to invest a lot of my time in it. That way I can pursue other things while I am living there.
