Pinup w/ Lynda from Viva Las Vegas!

Hey, Steemit! I had to take a little break from posting to work out some life obstacles. I “should” be in Seattle right now. I’m not. Still in Minnesota, still enjoying the brisk weather, family and friends at @caffetto. I ended up postponing the trip on short notice, thanks to the clients I had being flexible. The end of this month, things are going to be stressful, but for now, I’m kind of relieved. I wasn’t prepared for a work trip, especially in a new city. I’m rescheduling all my shoots in Seattle for late February, and considering a quick flight to LA to try and make some extra money; maybe a photography workshop. We’ll see.

Quickly, I have to just mentioned Trial by Comics. I’ve already chosen winners for “Lovecraft” theme. I’m just finishing the artwork for the next theme while trying to manage everything else going on. Man, I loved the entires this week. One of my favorite Trial by Comics themes to date. The artists that remain on Steemit […and the writers and creatives] are really setting the stage for the return to high value STEEM and the imminent growth and expansion of the comics community on Steemit. Thanks to everyone that entered “Lovecraft”. I’ll be making the announcement in a day or two.

I do have to get back to what brought me to the dance, and that’s beautiful, lingerie wearing pinups. I’m still working on finishing my outstanding Viva Las Vegas clients. It feels like an endless process, slipping through my fingers like sand. Life, gym, money and work […maybe a little bit of leisure] always stand in the way of the 12 - 14 hour editing sessions I used to enjoy. I did manage to cut through another set of a client from Viva named Lynda. One of the kindest people I’ve met in my many years on the road.

Lynda met me during the madness of Viva Las Vegas. A two week schedule that I somehow managed to fit 33 shoots in. My morale was starting to wither by the time I was 2/3’s through the trip, and Lynda’s energy was able to revive me. We were shooting at my friend Ralph’s Speakeasy. I love that place. So many cool rooms and he’s always changing it. Lynda was a natural, even as a new model, she took direction perfectly. We shot outside in the newly renovated tiki patio, then inside. Moody, dark and mid-century modern.

I have more of Lynda coming. She’s part of a just a few ladies I’m still wrapping up from the Rockabilly Weekend […I really have to lock down and finish them because Viva Las Vegas 2019 is right around the corner]. Like I said, look out for the Trail by Comics update to drop soon, and an interview with the owner/creator of Figurosity.com. I feel like I’ve gotten things in order to make up for the few days I missed. For more photography, art, illustration and stories behind the work, follow me here @kommienezuspadt
