It seems that @X has allowed Immutable to take over the #web3 and #Web3Gaming tags.
For those that don't know what Immutable is. Its a centralized, VC owned company backed by Coinbase among many others. They're the creator of the card game called Gods Unchained. Immutable is one of the biggest VC monsters that exists in Web3 right now.
I followed Gods unchained from day 1 as well as the Immutable launch. The chain launched at an insane valuation completely favoring the VC investors that came in the closed sale. It was something like 1 billion USD. There was basically no upside for any retail coming in later.
What Twitter (X) did by allowing them to buy the WEB3 tag is both insanely unfair and incredibly stupid.
Aside the fact that Immutable isnt even Web3 and is just one of many unfairly launched, VC controlled entities that doesnt stand for Web3 values in any way whatsoever...
This is like taking the #gaming tag and putting the logo of EA next to it.
Immutable doesnt represent Web3, it doesnt represent Web3 gaming.
I guess it does on Twitter now.
Since its allowed we should buy the #cryptocurrency tag and put the Hive logo next to it.
Ive got $5 towards it. Who is going to put up another $5?
