Hello everyone!
The Rio de Janeiro Botanical Garden was founded in 1808 by King João VI of Portugal and, since then, it's one of the most visited touristic spots in Rio de Janeiro: it's a beautiful place to tour around, take beautiful pictures, and maybe do a picnic by the nature!
The pictures I'm sharing today are all from the Orchid Greenhouse: it was closed for the last few years, but was re-opened recently after a renovation. It's a lovely place, with a strong colonial vibe due the cute Belvedere in the middle of it!!

O Jardim Botânico do Rio de Janeiro foi fundado em 1808 pelo Rei João VI de Portugal e, desde então, é um dos pontos turísticos mais visitados da cidade: é um lugar lindo para passear, tirar belas fotos e, quem sabe, até fazer um piquenique junto à natureza!
As fotos que estou compartilhando hoje são todas da estufa de orquídeas: ela esteve fechada nos últimos anos, mas foi reaberta recentemente após uma reforma. É um lugar muito gostoso de se passear, com aquele forte ar colonial devido ao lindo coreto no meio!
