Hello there Steemians! 😉

And yet another original artwork part of the book I illustrated. This chapter was about a Peahen who was very sad because she had lost all her colourful feathers and now was all brownish grey and she started to feel ugly because of that.

Then she encountered the wise Ant, yep that same ant again 😉, and after a conversation she started to feel better as she got convinced that not all was lost, physical beauty only lasts for such a short period of time during our lives and that she could instead cultivate her other virtues that last much longer during life...

And thus it goes on, sort of like an explanation myth of why Peahens are not as colourful as Peacocks...while highlighting the inner beauty in opposition to external.

This drawing was done on my A5 sized sketchbook using mechanical pencil, inkpens, aquarellable colour crayons. then it was slightly edited with Adobe Photoshop. I feel I kinda got lazy on this one, it was one of the last illustrations I was finishing before delivering them to the author and well...I think could have done something better...but i'll let you guys tell me what do you think hehe.
