Hello there friends!!! 😁
This is my fifteenth post about the Urban Sketchers of Medellín, this session was at the Barefoot Park.
This is a park/plaza nearby the civic centre know as Plaza Mayor, there you have a huge convention centre, the Mayor's Palace, Metropolitan Theatre, among other official buildings, all fairly new with quite Impressive Architecture, so there is indeed a lot of appealing urban views to draw around there, the Park itself is flanked by a small museum dedicated to the Water and it seems popular for going with children, according to what I saw while exploring around, there were many groups of children entering the museum.
So it was clear I wanted to draw something that made use of perspective and nice architecture hehe, but the thing is that the day was extremely cloudy and could start raining at any time, so it was best if I located myself somewhere sheltered avoiding to have to relocate if rain started to fall hehe.
And then I found the entrance of the Water Museum perfect place, it had a roof and some nice benches where I could draw comfortably without worrying about the rain and with a magnificent view of the Museum's Building and Plaza 👨🎨.
After finishing the drawing session we all went to our preferred café in downtown, Versalles, and had all a nice time eating empanadas and I also celebrated my Birthday which was some days ago haha, so I got a brownie with a candle 🎉🎉🎉 🤣.
Ok so let's continue with the Sketches.
