I spent today catching up on some of my favourite anime and when i was done i decided to hunt down something new and i managed to dig up a few gems, one of those gems is The Promised Neverland, i never like to spoil a good anime for anyone so i have done a relatively spoiler free synopsis.

I knew i would like this anime from the first few minutes of the first episode, the anime was made by a studio called CloverWorks who are responsible for works such as Fairy Tail and Persona 5, i have just watched the last of twelve episodes and can unreservedly say that this is a masterpiece.

The main protagonists are Norman, Emma and Ray and they live in an idyllic looking home surrounded by fields, they also live there with a bunch of other younger children in what we are lead to believe is an orphanage of some sort though not everything is at it seems and the three soon start to plan their escape.
