I was watching this light fluffy cloud floating across the sky and just took a photo as it began to merge with a larger cloud. This is a cumulonimbus cloud and when they get together in large formations you can get thunderstorms hence the name 'thunderhead'.
The clouds passed over and left behind a clear blue sky. Time for some Blue Sky Thinking! the #newsteem initiative encourages us to move on but not to forget about past hiccups but to learn from them.
For an in depth look at the #newsteem concept read @whatsup's fun post
Sky Blue

Cumulonimbus is a dense, towering vertical cloud, forming from water vapor carried by powerful upward air currents. If observed during a storm, these clouds may be referred to as thunderheads. Cumulonimbus can form alone, in clusters, or along cold front squall lines.
Bubbles on a blue sky

The bubbles above are a little out of focus but it was fun watching them float away while frantically trying to pull focus. :-) It's a bit like software development. Things do not always go according to plan and things may have to change on the fly and everything always takes longer than you expected.
Unless you are a programmer you will have little understanding of how all these varying web assets hold together in order to work together. It is quite a challenge.
Holiday flights?

I got this photo of an aircraft above while being a passenger in a car on the M11 from Cambridge to London last week. I've flown on one of these Ryan air planes when I went to steemfest2 in Lisbon, Portugal. Not glamorous at all. In fact it was like flying in a cattle truck. No frills airlines? Ha! Bring your own sandwiches.
Again it's like our block chain. It is super efficient at what it does but it has no frills. That is where we come in. If we want a better user experience. We can build it ourselves, if we have the skills or alternatively collaborate with others and form teams and each person do what they can. Not everything is code. We need functional but attractively designed interfaces. So we need artists and illustrators as well writers, humorist's etc etc.
It has to become a one stop shop for everything that people have come to expect from a web service.
My entry for #FridaySkyBlue
Blue is a very positive colour and is most often associated with new thinking or alternative approaches to solve a problem (blue sky thinking) It literally means to see things unencumbered by strict rules or old or outdated ways of doing things. Like the #newsteem initiative. Forget the past. Let's move forward.
What are you building on the steem block chain? This is what I'm developing. Steemimages
