Hello Hive Music Lovers!,
Welcome to another #threetunetuesday created originally by @ablaze.
I like to share some music that I am listening to each week and today I share the not so well known outside of France Corine. I think her style could be described as Electonic Disco or even Europop, but maybe more funky than the traditional fare.
But first, for those unfamiliar with TTT or Three Tune Tuesday.... to quote @ablaze :
The jist is as follows
Every Tuesday I'm going to share 3 songs which I like to listen to and I invite your feedback in the comments below. Better still, why not have a blast of your own Three Tune Tuesday and mention me in the post and I'll come and find the post and upvote it. If you could also use #threetunetuesday tag that would be great, as that is what I use when sifting through all the entries every Wednesday. It'll be a sweet way for us all to discover new music. You'll also be in with a chance of winning the prize.
I discovered Corine when she performed on the live performance by Polo & Pan that I have shared a couple of weeks back. She has made quite a few good tunes and is a great artist in her own right too with this unique style among the current mix of popular French artists right now.
I find her tunes pretty great but also she is a great performer too. One of her older tunes, but a great intro to Corine is her song called Corine.
Corine
From here on it gets hard to narrow her tracks down as she has quite a few good ones and some great videos too. One of my favorite tunes and videos is Cocktail.
If I was to picture a mermaid, it would be this interpretation by Corine. I have been somewhat hypnotised by this tune.
Cocktail
Another favorite of mine is the song Perché Perché which is a catchy tune and a really interesting video too. I am thinking that I haven't seen a candy apple used so eloquently in a music video for a while and was pleasantly surprised by the results.
Not that long ago I tried one of these candy covered apples as it reminded me of my childhood and birthday parties and it was just too sweet and sickly for me... even though I have a sweet tooth, it was too much.
Therefore I think Corine does a great job with it here. I also can sometimes picture myself with the chocolate on my face like she has here when I get some chocolate cravings. My wife then says you weren't supposed to eat it all, just one piece!
Perché Perché (Pourquoi Pourquoi Version Italienne)
The final tune is a great live performance of Maquillage which I really love and the crowd seem to appreciate it too. Corine is currently touring and has a few gigs left til the end of the year, but they are all in France.
I really love her singing and costumes. I think she could be great to go and see live. I can't understand a word she says, but I like it with the french accent.
Maquillage
I didn't share her most popular and viewed song on Youtube and Spotify, but it is for sure worth a mention. It is a great tune called Pluie Fine and is the mix by Polo and Pan. The video is pretty funny and worth to watch on its own imo.

That wraps up my #ttt for this week. Have a great musical Tuesday, thanks for listening and what have you been listening to?
