I can barely sleep, so I decided to write. At least to get things off my chest. Heard that helps, so here goes nothing.
So around Friday, I asked my brother to borrow me some cash so I can buy steem to buy back my loan. Since the price was(is) low I thought it was best to capitalize on this unique opportunity. Buying crypto isn't that hard thanks to Luno. I can simply buy eth/btc with my debit card which I did.
It's enough to cover my loan. Now the next is to convert my ethereum to steem, which isn't a problem either. I simply send it to bloctrades in exchange for steem. I was at this last step when I realized I had a problem. Well, I had misplaced the phone number I used in registering my Luno account. Isn't much of a problem right? Well, it is. The Luno Team have strict security rules/measures. It will take me about 7days to actually do that and I don't have 7days. My brother actually needs the money back today. So I reached out to their customer care team. They quietly responded to me. Unfortunately, my account was disabled.
Until the matter is resolved I can't do any on my Luno wallet. I actually feel very sad because I have put my brother in a very bad situation and he might get into trouble because of me.
So yeah my day isn't going well. Currently waiting by my phone, hoping to get an email from the Luno team.
