Miércoles en la tarde, ya mitad de semana y todo en relativa calma. Mi día ha sido tranquilo y sin muchas novedades, he trabajado desde casa, cocinamos la comida temprano, pero me falta preparar algo adicional para comer en un rato.
El clima está fresco y algo nublado, pero parece que no hay tormenta el día de hoy. En fin, un día relajado en mi calmada #vida, la clase de día que me gustan.

Well, I love #coffee and ice cream is a dessert that I like, so the combination seems very good. I admit that personally I am more in favor of chocolate ice cream, but the coffee one does not seem bad to me, in fact, there is a cappuccino flavored ice cream (which combines coffee and chocolate) that I find excellent.

Bien, a mí me encanta el #cafe y el helado es un postre que me agrada, así que la combinación me parece muy buena. Admito que en lo personal soy más partidario del #helado de chocolate, pero el de café no me parece mal, de hecho, hay un helado con sabor a capuchino (que combina café y chocolate) que me parece excelente.

Lo de la foto es un parfait de chocolate, pero espero que se entienda la idea de como se ve el postre. En fin, que se dice que la receta de helado de chocolate cremoso, más semejante a lo que tenemos en la actualidad, se desarrolló en el siglo XX, un siglo en que el café se había establecido ya como una bebida cotidiana en la vida de una gran cantidad de personas.
Si lees hasta este punto, ya notarás que no he dicho el motivo de que se escogiera este día, pero la verdad es que no pude hallar el motivo de eso. Varias referencias me aseguraban que se festejaba hoy, pero no me aclaraban quienes escogieron este día en particular, en fin, eso no me impide disfrutar de un café, ya sea caliente o en helado (sonrisa personal)
